Laura Todd, LPCC, is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and the founder of Journey Confluence: a California-based practice providing therapy, clinical supervision, consultation, and professional education through a trauma-informed, liberation-oriented, and humanistic lens. She is deeply invested in generative, collective progress throughout the field and across communities. Laura is honored to serve as a member of the Health Advisory Board with Healing Wave Aquatics, where she has the privilege of integrating her clinical perspectives into the HWA mission & process.
Laura has worked in a myriad of environments throughout her career - supporting individuals, couples, families, military members, veterans, LGBTQ+ communities, and those navigating complex trauma, chronic stress, grief, identity exploration, and relational challenges. Her work is grounded in the belief that our experiences, relationships, identities, and environments all shape how we move through the world, and that healing begins when those stories are met with curiosity, compassion, and context.
Laura strives to create a healing space that feels authentic, collaborative, and deeply human. Rather than reducing people to diagnoses or symptoms, she integrates evidence-based interventions with trauma-informed, systems-oriented, and humanistic approaches to support clients in better understanding themselves, strengthening their relationships, and reconnecting with the parts of themselves that may have been lost through adversity.
Whether in the therapy office or out in the world, Laura considers it a privilege to be invited alongside others on their own journeys - honoring resilience, celebrating growth, trusting that they remain the expert on the path forward and expressing gratitude that she’s permitted to bear witness to it.
