Andrew was born and raised in San Diego. After attending Eastlake High School and Southwestern Community College, he attended and graduated from San Diego State University earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice. Andrew then attended California Western School of Law before passing the California Bar Exam. He currently practices as Deputy Public Defender for the County of San Diego.
As a Deputy Public Defender, Andrew works with veterans suffering from PTSD, homelessness, substance abuse, and mental health disorders. The desire to serve drives Andrew to help veterans obtain the necessary resources to address their specific obstacle. Andrew believes we owe a debt to every veteran and their family, and it is our responsibility to ensure each veteran has access to comprehensive and holistic healing.
