
Beth is a licensed physical therapist specializing in orthopedic and aquatic therapy. As the owner of North County Water & Sports Therapy Center it is her goal to provide quality one-on-one care to a variety of patients.
Since graduating from the University of Connecticut in 1991, Beth has belonged to the American Physical Therapy Association and has achieved Certification and re-certification as a clinical specialist in orthopedic physical therapy, by demonstrating specialized knowledge and advanced clinical proficiency in respect to orthopedic diagnoses. In January 2006, Beth graduated from Boston University with a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree.
As a Certified STOTT Pilates™ instructor, Beth incorporates the use of Pilates basic principles and equipment into patient exercise programs to enhance their core stability and postural awareness. This method has been extremely successful in transitioning patients to a higher level of function and activity.
Beth is an Aquatic Therapy Rehabilitation Institute Certified therapist. In 2010, Beth was honored with the Aquatic Therapy Rehabilitation Institute's Tsunami Spirit award for her contribution to aquatic therapy education. In 2012, she was named Aquatic Therapy Professional of the Year. In 2015, the Aquatic Section of the APTA presented Beth with the Judy Cirullo Ward in recognition of her promotion of aquatic therapy. In 2026, Beth was honored to receive the John K. Williams, Jr. Adapted Aquatics Award from the International Swimming Hall of Fame.
Additional aquatic therapy certifications include Master Instructor for the Burdenko Method and Trainer for AquaStretch™, a myofascial release technique performed in the water.
Additionally, Beth provides continuing education for health care professionals worldwide on aquatic physical therapy and exercise interventions. Hiking and travel keeps Beth busy when she is not at work.
